What to cut at Pompeii
In three hours you can't do the whole site. Give up the far outskirts and stay on the central axis: Forum, Stabian Baths, Via dell'Abbondanza, House of the Faun. The Villa of the Mysteries costs you forty minutes of walking — leave it for a dedicated visit.
What not to skip at Herculaneum
